RUN FOR A POSITION IN YOUR HALL! ONE PERSON PER POSITION, BUT CAN HAVE 2 PROGRAMMERS!
A candidate must be an undergraduate student living in official Fordham University at Rose Hill housing and only seeking a position in their residence hall.
Come to the club fair or contact us for a signature sheet. Each signature sheet must be signed by a minimum of 20 residents of the residential building that the candidate(s) is running in. Campaign expenditures cannot exceed $25.
PRESIDENT:
The President is the Chief Executive and will chair their respective Hall Board meetings.
The President is also responsible for the relationship between their respective Hall Board and the Residence Hall Association Executive Board, as well as the residence hall staff
The President will meet with the respective Resident Director of their hall at the very least on a monthly basis
The President will meet with their hall board on a regular basis to set goals, plan for programs, and to present and discuss any grievances relating to their hall
VICE PRESIDENT:
The Vice President will assist the President and assume the Presidency in the event that the President is unable to fulfill their duties.
The Vice President is in charge of their hall’s philanthropic efforts
The Vice President is responsible for the execution of in-hall philanthropic efforts dedicated to causes chosen by the hall board. Philanthropic efforts are denoted by raising funds or raising awareness of their chosen cause
The Vice President will correspond with the Executive Vice President to ensure parameters for meeting philanthropic programming guidelines and executing beneficial programs
SECRETARY:
The Secretary will be responsible for their respective Hall Board’s clerical duties such as the recording of minutes from the Hall Board meetings;
The Secretary will be responsible for updating the Hall Board’s clerical database provided by the Chief Operations Officer.
TREASURER:
The Treasurer will be responsible for the financial management of their respective Hall Board budget
The Treasurer will also regularly inform the Hall Board and Chief Financial Officer of the state of the hall’s budget which includes but is not limited to maintaining the budget tracker and submitting reimbursements
PROGRAMMER(S):
The Programmer(s) will be responsible for coordinating all programs conducted by the hall board.
They will work with the marketing committee member to publicize upcoming events
They are responsible for working with the Chief Operations Officer and Chief Events Officer to maintain the programming database
If the Hall Board has two Programmers, then these responsibilities will be split appropriately
